Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the SwitchLink Mobile App (“the App”), developed and operated by Green Stream Systems & Solutions (Pvt) Ltd (“Company”, “we”, “our”, or “us”).

By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

Description of the Service

SwitchLink is a hardware-agnostic IoT dashboard application that allows users to:

• Connect to their own Firebase Realtime Database
• Monitor IoT sensor data
• Control connected devices remotely
• Discover devices based on structured naming conventions

SwitchLink does not provide a proprietary cloud server. Users are responsible for creating and maintaining their own Firebase project.

User Responsibilities

You agree that:

• You are responsible for creating and managing your Firebase project.
• You must properly configure Firebase Authentication and Database Rules.
• You are responsible for safeguarding your Firebase credentials.
• You are responsible for the firmware logic and safety of your IoT hardware.

SwitchLink is not responsible for:

• Incorrect database configurations
• Data loss due to Firebase misconfiguration
• Hardware malfunctions
• Electrical damage
• Network outages

IoT Control & Safety Disclaimer

SwitchLink enables remote control of electrical devices.

You acknowledge that:

• Improper wiring or hardware setup may cause electrical damage, injury, or fire.
• High-voltage systems must be installed by qualified professionals.
• The App is a software interface only and does not control physical hardware directly.

The Company shall not be liable for:

• Electrical hazards
• Property damage
• Personal injury
• Device failures
• Consequential losses

You use the App at your own risk.

Advertising

The App may display advertisements via Google AdMob.

By using the free version of the App, you agree to:

• The display of in-app advertisements
• Data processing by Google for ad delivery and performance

Advertising data is governed by Google’s policies:

Subscription (Ad-Free Version)

SwitchLink offers an optional annual subscription that removes advertisements.

Billing

• Payments are processed securely via Google Play Billing.
• We do not store credit card or payment details.
• Subscription pricing is displayed within the app.

Renewal

• Subscriptions may auto-renew unless canceled via Google Play.
• Users may manage or cancel subscriptions through their Google Play account.

Refunds

• All payments and refunds are subject to Google Play’s refund policies.
• SwitchLink does not directly process refunds.

Intellectual Property

All rights in the SwitchLink app, including:

• App design
• Branding
• Software code
• Documentation

are owned by Green Stream Systems & Solutions (Pvt) Ltd.

You may not:

• Reverse engineer the app
• Copy or redistribute the software
• Modify or create derivative works
• Use branding without written permission

Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the App to:

• Access unauthorized Firebase databases
• Interfere with system security
• Distribute malware
• Violate local, national, or international laws
• Engage in unlawful surveillance

We reserve the right to restrict access if misuse is detected.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

The Company shall not be liable for:

• Indirect or incidental damages
• Loss of profits
• Business interruption
• Data loss
• Device malfunction
• Third-party service outages (including Firebase or Google services)

Your use of the App is at your own risk.

Third-Party Services

SwitchLink integrates with third-party services, including:

• Google Firebase
• Google AdMob
• Google Play Billing

We do not control these services and are not responsible for:

• Service outages
• Data processing practices
• Policy changes by Google

Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and policies.

Termination

We reserve the right to:

• Suspend or terminate access to the App
• Remove features
• Discontinue services

without prior notice if:

• You violate these Terms
• The App is misused
• Legal or technical issues arise

Updates & Modifications

We may update:

• App features
• Pricing
• Policies
• Terms and Conditions

Continued use of the App after updates constitutes acceptance of revised Terms.

Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE.”

We do not guarantee:

• Continuous availability
• Error-free performance
• Compatibility with all hardware
• Protection from all cybersecurity risks

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws applicable to the jurisdiction in which Green Stream Systems & Solutions (Pvt) Ltd is registered, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
